From This Day Forward...

Matt & Jean are getting married!!!

We have a date!

September 15th, y'all. Save the date.

We also have a honeymoon! A seven day Carribean cruise that stops at Ocho Rios, Jamaica, ...somethingorother that's not Grand Cayman, the Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico. It leaves from Galveston, Texas two days after the wedding, which gives us plenty of time to drive down there. Third deck, ocean view cabin, and whee, I'm excited!

What we still don't have yet is a location. The chapel we checked out was a bit of a disappointment, so we've got another one lined up to tour. Maybe that will be a keeper. If not, there's always our church, provided that our pastor performs the ceremony, and not this minister/family friend who Matt hopes to get instead, if he can ever get ahold of the guy.

September 15th! I'm getting married September 15th! Which, coincidentally, is the day before my parents' anniversary, which makes my mother inordinately happy for some reason. Yay, I say! Yay!

That's great news, Jean! My wife and I will celebrate our 18th year this August. Marriage is hard work but it is sooo worth it.

Maybe your Mum is happy because with your wedding so close to her anniversary maybe your Dad will finally remember. ;)
